CCE પરીક્ષા શું છે?
ગુજરાત જાહેર સેવા આયોગ (GPSC) દ્વારા આયોજિત Common Competitive Examination (CCE) એ ગુજરાત સરકારની Group A અને Group B સેવાઓ માટે સૌથી પ્રતિષ્ઠિત પ્રવેશ-પ્રક્રિયા છે. આ પ્રક્રિયા ત્રણ તબક્કામાં વિભાજિત છે — પ્રાથમિક પરીક્ષા (Pre), મુખ્ય પરીક્ષા (Mains) અને ઇન્ટરવ્યૂ. યોગ્ય આયોજન અને સ્માર્ટ વ્યૂહ સાથે, આ પ્રવેશ-દ્વારમાંથી પાર ઉતરવું ચોક્કસ શક્ય છે.
CCE પ્રાથમિક પરીક્ષા સ્ટ્રક્ચર
150 ગુણ, 2 કલાક, MCQ ફોર્મેટ — આ Elimination Test છે, જ્યાં માત્ર ટોચના ઉમેદવારો Mains માટે પસંદ થાય છે.

નેગેટિવ માર્કિંગ — ખૂબ મહત્ત્વની બાબત!
Pre પરીક્ષામાં દરેક ખોટા ઉત્તર માટે –0.25 ગુણ કાપવામાં આવે છે. "Not Attempted" વિકલ્પ પસંદ કરવો ફરજિયાત છે — જો ઉમેદવારે ન તો ઉત્તર આપ્યો ન "Not Attempted" ચૂઝ કર્યો, તો –0.25 ગુણ.
- જ્યારે ઉત્તર ખાતરીથી ન ખ્યાલ હોય ત્યારે "Not Attempted" ચૂઝ કરો
- 80% ખાતરી હોય ત્યારે જ ઉત્તર આપો
- Random guessing ક્યારેય ન કરો

Quantitative Aptitude
30 ગુણ, standard Class 10 Level. Percentage, Ratio, Average, S.I./C.I., Time-Work, Profit-Loss, DI — આ topic ઉપર focus રાખો. Shortcut methods શીખો.
Current Affairs Strategy
30 ગુણ GK + Current Affairs. Daily newspaper (Gujarat Samachar/Sandesh), Monthly Current Affairs Magazine + GPSC ના ઓફિસિયલ Notes. Gujarat specific news ખૂબ important!
ભાષા (Gujarati + English)
ગુજરાતી 15 + English 15 = 30 ગુણ. Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension ઉપર ધ્યાન. Standard Std. 12 Level sufficient. Daily practice from past papers.
⏱️ Time Management — Pre Exam Day Strategy
Group A Mains — Descriptive Paper Strategy
Mains Descriptive exam ખૂબ demanding છે. Writing quality, structure અને content depth ત્રણેય matter કરે છે.
📝 Paper I — ગુજરાતી (100 ગુણ)

📚 Paper III — General Studies (150 ગુણ)
56 questions, mix of 1/2/3/5 ગુણ. History, Geography, Economy, Polity, Current Events. 3-mark ques = 90 ગુણ (biggest chunk!). Short, crisp, structured answers important. Practice answer writing from GPSC past papers.
🏛️ Group B Mains (200 ગુણ — MCQ)
Group B Mains MCQ format છે. Government Schemes (30 ગુણ) + Current Affairs (30 ગુણ) = 60 ગુણ! Daily newspaper + Monthly current digest + Yojana/Kurukshetra magazine crucial. Constitution, Economy, Gujarat focus.
CCE 6 મહિનો Study Plan
Month 1-2: Foundation
Reasoning basics (Shortcuts + Practice sets), Math formulas, NCERT History/Geography (6-10), Gujarat ની basic info. Standard books ઓળખો.
Month 3-4: Core Build-up
Economy (Ramesh Singh), Polity (Laxmikant), Science & Tech revision. Daily Current Affairs start. Writing practice for Mains — 2 pages daily.
Month 5-6: Revision + Mock
Full length Mock Tests every week (Pre), Answer writing drills (Mains). Error analysis + weak area fix. Past 5 years GPSC papers must solve. Speed + Accuracy.
